Kailey Sweeney's journey is a testament to transformation and resilience. Born male, Kailey grappled with a deep-seated sense of being female, enduring years of fear and self-loathing. Despite these struggles, Kailey married, started a family, and served as a minister in a conservative church.
In June 2017, a life-altering near-death experience (NDE) shifted her perspective dramatically. After a medical procedure left her clinically dead, Kailey encountered a profound vision of the afterlife, where a divine presence reassured her of unconditional love and purpose. This transformative experience guided her to embrace her true identity as a woman and embark on a mission to advocate for love and acceptance, particularly within the LGBT community.
Following her NDE, Kailey legally changed her name to reflect her new identity, embracing the Gaelic name "Kailey," meaning "Keeper of the Keys." Today, she serves as a dedicated End-of-Life Care Doula, offering support through life transitions, including business starts, gender changes, and the final journey of life. Kailey is also penning a stage play that chronicles her profound NDE and subsequent transition, sharing her powerful story with the world.
